one in four film festival

one in four film festival

The University of Central Lancashire and the one-in-four film festival committee would be delighted if you could join us for the service user/ carer day on Saturday the 9th of October.

The event starts at 2pm with service user/ carer films being shown in the main Foster cinema. In the entrance to the Foster building we will be having a market place of stalls with many of them representing mental health, education and support.

We also have members of community involvement groups who are coming along to share the day with us and offer information and advice.

We will be featuring music, poetry and art work. We also have small workshops demonstrating art and poetry.

In Foster 25, one of our large teaching rooms adjacent to the cinema, we will be showing a selection of DVDs on loan to us from many mental-health institutions from all over the country and from our colleagues in Vancouver , Canada .

The afternoon's events end at approximately 5:00pm with a short break before the start of the main feature film at 6pm in the Foster cinema.

All who requested a stall please come early as space is limited.

Anyone else interested in having a stall on the day are more than welcome, but please come early to avoid disappointment.

Free parking outside the Foster building

Very best wishes
