Top Photo - "Bold Venture" the slurry pond, once a place of work for me, where I used to dredge the slurry and send it to the Cement Plant at Tunstead Quarry. This site has not been 'live' for about 15 years, wonder what this will be in the future ?

Bottom Photo - "Perseverance", the old quarry transformed into Peak Dale Motorcycle Club through many years of voluntary effort. Aptly named. Now looking very picturesque, very different from "Bold Venture" which is situated on the other side of the road.

On a Bank Holiday Sunday, the weather is dry, very warm and sunny ~ will it prove to be too much for some taking part ?
I'm going to take some photographs of the Race whilst out on my bike today, mostly from the highest points of the Course (see link).
